In times of uncertainty and of upheaval, we dream of the future—not only to escape, but to find direction beyond the present...

BLACK A.F.F.

What is Afro Futures Fest?  Afro Futures Fest is an omni-temporal celebration of Black imagination and innovation.  Our Nov 2 launch kicks off a new series of immersive events exploring Black futures through art, music, performance, and imagination.

WHAT TO EXPECT?

Step into the year 2105 for a one-day immersive experience in the heart of Harlem this All Saints’ Day at The People’s Church. Afro Futures Fest invites you to imagine what life could look like 80 years from now—through the pulse of live African drumming, jazz, dance, visual art, graphic literature, and political education.

This multidisciplinary celebration bridges past, present, and future, blending culture and creativity into a living vision of liberation. Come dressed for the world you want to see—what do you imagine you’ll be wearing in 2105? Explore our Lookbook below and join us in shaping tomorrow, today.

WHY 2105?

The year 2105 invites us to look beyond the limits of the present and imagine the world our creativity can build. It’s a symbolic future—close enough to feel real, yet distant enough to dream freely. Many of us, and the people we love, could still be alive then—living in the futures we dare to imagine today.
